The new facility — located in the RMZ Ecospace – has initial capacity to accommodate 150 employees, with 65 joining immediately.

The Synaptics design center in Bengaluru will develop human interface solutions to support the consumer IoT market — notably Smart Homes — and will serve as a technology hub to support both global and South-East Asia markets.

Hardware and software engineers in Bengaluru will be developing solutions for consumer IoT markets.

“The design center strengthens our commitment to recruiting and developing Indian talent, while providing the tools for our teams to advance in their careers and create innovative solutions for consumer IoT applications,” Jean Boufarhat, SVP, Mobile Silicon Engineering of Synaptics, said.
