ORBCOMM announced additions to its fleet management portfolio, including cellular-only SkyWave IDP-782 device and the viaFleet web application for tracking, monitoring and managing trucks, railcars and other mobile assets.
ORBCOMM promises that its solutions will help fleet operators to reduce fuel costs, optimize travel routes, monitor driver behavior, minimize idle times and ensure cargo and driver security.
ORBCOMM recently introduced several other innovative wireless solutions such as ORBCOMM OGi modem, ORBCOMMconnect and ORBCOMMmobile.
These products and services enhance ORBCOMM’s M2M and IoT solutions portfolio.
