CA Technologies in pact with Tech Mahindra to deploy IoT solutions

CA Technologies announced its agreement with Tech Mahindra to develop and deploy Internet of Things solutions (IoT) for enterprises.

CA DevOps portfolio and CA Release Automation, CA Service Virtualization, CA Mobile App analytics and CA Unified infrastructure management (UIM) will be the center of IoT deal. Tech Mahindra’s expertise in building and delivering mobile applications will also be utilized.

IDC says the collaboration between CA Technologies and Tech Mahindra will enable both companies and their customers to capture $3.4 trillion IoT revenue over the next five years.

Tech Mahindra has an ecosystem of M2M partners to bring solution to the market. The company focuses on Application Development, back end system integration, device design and engineering and managed services.

CA Technologies invests more than $600 million every year in software development and generated $1 billion in cash flow from operations in 2014.

“Through this alliance, we will develop, deploy and support our joint customers and help them thrive in the applications economy,” said Alyssa Fitzpatrick, senior vice president, global partner organization, CA Technologies.

Meanwhile, CA Technologies is working with a number of Australian channel partners including Melbourne IT, RXP and UXC to help local businesses further leverage their investments in Amazon Web services using CA Unified Infrastructure management for Amazon Web Services. CA UIM for Amazon Web Services enables organizations to monitor and manage service levels in the cloud.

In December 2014, Atos and CA Technologies tied up to launch a new Service Virtualization and Agile testing Center of Excellence (COE).
