Aeris, MapmyIndia partnership to bring new IoT solutions to India

MapmyIndiaAeris, an Internet of Things (IoT) services specialist, announced partnership with MapmyIndia, a provider of GPS navigation and tracking solutions, to deliver geo-spatial intelligence based IoT solutions in India.

Under this partnership, both companies will jointly develop solutions and offer services leveraging their respective areas of core competence. The solution will address ubiquitous tracking challenges faced by businesses, a statement from the company said.

The IoT market in India is prospering claiming USD $5.6 billion with 200 million connected devices in 2016. The market is expected to grow to USD $15 billion with 2.7 billion devices by 2020 presenting a significant opportunity for technology and service providers.
