Karan Bajwa, the former managing director of Microsoft, is set to join enterprise IT major IBM.
Both Microsoft and IBM compete in the Indian IT market place for enterprise IT deals. The appointment of Karan Bajwa is expected to boost sale of IBM products and solutions in India.

At Microsoft, Karan Bajwa was in charge of sales and marketing operations. He earlier tweeted thanking Microsoft India, where he spent nine years.
Karan Bajwa would be the second in command reporting to Vanitha Narayanan, managing director of IBM India.
Karan Bajwa was instrumental in establishing Microsoft’s Azure and Office 365 business in India. IBM aims to enhance transformational deals in India with the appointment of Karan Bajwa. Earlier, Karan Bajwa had a stint with IBM and was based out of Singapore.
