Telecom equipment provider ZTE has become the third largest video conferencing vendor in the third quarter of 2013, behind Cisco and Polycom.
ZTE has 12 percent market share in both video conferencing end points and revenue in the third quarter of 2013.
Networking vendor Cisco has 31 percent share video conferencing end points and 41 percent share in revenue.
Polycom, in the second largest position, has 23 percent share in video conferencing end points and 22 percent revenue share.
Huawei has 10 percent share in video conferencing end points and 12 percent revenue share, said Wainhouse Research.
Wainhouse Research said ZTE achieved a 12 percent market share in endpoint units, the third-highest among all vendors globally. In the Asia Pacific region, ZTE was the leading video-conferencing vendor with 27 percent market share in infrastructure revenue.

ZTE multimedia video conferencing systems have been applied to multiple operators and industrial video conferencing backbone networks around the globe.
