Software AG has appointed SAP executive Eric Duffaut as chief customer officer.
He will be part of executive board and responsible for Software AG’s global sales, consulting services and marketing. With the appointment of Duffaut, Software AG is trying to bundle its go-to-market activities in the global IT market.
Karl-Heinz Streibich, CEO of Software AG, said: “The appointment will accelerate our transformation to a totally customer centric organization. Through this new organizational structure we will better utilize the leading position of our product portfolio. We will strengthen our direct sales execution capabilities as well as the development of our partner eco-system.”
Duffaut previously held global sales leadership positions at Oracle and SAP, most recently as corporate officer and president of SAP’s global partner eco-system.
