Mallu Cyber Soldiers said today that the defacing of Pakistani websites was done in retaliation of www.keralagov.in’s hacking, warning the Pakistanis to better stay away from Indian cyber space.

Earlier, pro-Pakistani hackers hacked the official website of the Kerala government, www.keralagov.in, and posted an image of a burning Tricolour.

According to media reports, the cyber wing of the state police launched a probe into the hacking that occurred late Saturday night.

Chief Minister Oommen Chandy told reporters at his hometown in Kottayam on Sunday that the hacking was a grave issue.

The state-owned Centre for Development of Imaging Technology is repairing the website. It is believed that Pakistan group could not hack the website server.
