The India Government has initiated a plan scheme on computerization of TPDS operations on cost sharing basis for all States and UTs.
States/UTs are requested from time to time to complete the work of digitization of data base at the earliest. This information was given by the Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Shri Ram Vilas Paswan in a written reply in Rajya Sabha today.
As per reports received from States/UTs, status of digitization of ration cards is as follow:
