Tata CLiQ selects Unicommerce to achieve higher sales

Tata CLiQ.com, the physical e-commerce business of the Tata group, has selected Unicommerce to enhance omnichannel capabilities for brands registered on Tata CLiQ’s website.

The strategy of Tata CLiQ is to achieve higher sales with the same inventory, by ensuring a centralized inventory for both online and offline operations. This enables the brands to offer a uniform customer experience across all customer touch points through Unicommerce.

Tata CLiQ offers the convenience of quicker delivery by shipping from store, easy pick-up, exchange and returns, across 1200+ brands and 1,000 stores in 100+ Indian cities and towns.

“Tata CLiQ focuses on harbinging ecommerce 2.0 through a comprehensive omni-channel offering, where customers will be able to move seamlessly between the physical and online world as they browse, experience, purchase and receive their products,” said Sauvik Banerjjee, chief technology officer of TataCLiQ.com.

Unicommerce has built a customer base of 10,000+ sellers in more than 220 cities including big brands such as GNC, Lenskart, Monte Carlo, Classic Polo, Action shoes, House of Anita Dongre, Ritu Kumar, Carat Lane etc.

“Our omni-channel offerings are specifically developed to improve the customer experience, thereby increasing brand sales, and these solutions are being used by multiple players to manage 1000+ stores,” said Kapil Makhija, CEO of Unicommerce.

Unicommerce has more than 10,000 registered vendors, with presence in more than 220 cities in India. The platform is currently being used to process more than 100 million shipments annually, amounting to 15-20 percent of overall India’s e-commerce transactions.

Unicommerce said the SaaS based omnichannel and warehouse management platform allows e-commerce merchants and brands selling on multiple marketplaces like Snapdeal, Amazon, Jabong, Flipkart, eBay and so on, to manage their entire warehouse, inventory and order fulfillment process for both online and offline operations through one single platform.
