Soon, you may be able to shop on Facebook

New York, July 16  Facebook may soon be your go-to for shopping apart from all the other things that you get on the site.

Facebook pages will soon host e-commerce shopping sites, according to media reports.

The digital storefronts will also have a “Buy” button to help you get items you have developed a fancy for.

“With the shop section on the page, we are now providing businesses with the ability to showcase their products directly on the page,” Facebook product marketing manager Emma Rodgers was quoted as saying.

However, it is not clear when the new feature will roll out as it is currently in the testing phase.

Facebook currently has a few partners it is working with but is not opening up about who its launch partners would be.
