InfotechLead.com, a prominent IT news website targeting IT decisions makers and CIOs at enterprises, government, SMBs and start-ups, today announced InfotechLead Award 2017.

Amazon, an e-commerce company base in the U.S., was selected as the InfotechLead Award 2017 E-commerce Company.

Amazon has significantly expanded its e-commerce platform beyond its traditional markets. Amazon is the second largest e-commerce player after Flipkart. India is projected to be the second biggest online retail market for the company after the U.S. Amazon has invested heavily focusing on diversity of products, technology innovation, and R&D.

With an investment of $16.1 billion, Amazon became the top R&D spender in 2016 among tech companies in the U.S., which directly translates into productivity and innovation.
