Yahoo appoints Lisa Utzschneider as chief revenue officer

Yahoo has appointed Lisa Utzschneider as chief revenue officer to serve the needs of advertisers worldwide – heading all sales teams globally.

Lisa joined Yahoo as senior VP, Sales, Americas last year and has been pivotal in structuring the sales teams across North and South America for growth. She has integrated sales across Yahoo, BrightRoll, Flurry and Tumblr to help bring new opportunities and tremendous value to advertisers.

She earlier worked with Amazon and Microsoft.

At Amazon, Lisa was vice president of Global Advertising Sales leading its display advertising efforts. Prior to Amazon, Lisa spent 10 years at Microsoft where she lead advertising initiatives in product development, sales strategy, and online industry standards capacities.

Yahoo last week said its revenue increased to $1,243 million in Q2 2015 from $1,084 million. It made a net loss of $22 million in Q2 2015 against net income of $270 million.
