Nostra’s user base now represents nearly a fifth of India’s burgeoning mobile gaming community, according to an official statement released by the company. Notably, the e-sports platform has reported a substantial 30 percent increase in its user base during the period from January to June 2023.
In an exciting development, Nostra revealed that during the aforementioned period, users experienced a 1.5x increase in the number of games played per session. The average user engagement on the platform has also seen a boost, with gamers spending an average of at least 20 minutes each day indulging in their favorite games.
The driving force behind Nostra’s remarkable growth has been attributed to its strategic focus on LIVE streaming of video game tournaments, commonly referred to as E-sports, as well as game streaming. The company witnessed an astounding three-fold surge in the amount of time users spent watching game streams, accompanied by a three-fold increase in the number of daily active users engaged in LIVE streaming of gaming tournaments.
One of Nostra’s distinguishing features is its unique distribution model, made possible by its partnership with Glance, a leading smart lock screen platform. This collaboration has enabled Nostra to make its hosted games accessible to Glance’s vast user base, comprising over 230 million active users across India and Southeast Asia. Glance provides personalized content recommendations and LIVE experiences, further enhancing Nostra’s widespread reach and influence.

In a strategic move aimed at fortifying its diverse gaming portfolio, Nostra has unveiled plans to introduce a staggering 600 new games spanning across 15 distinct categories. This ambitious endeavor is being made possible through partnerships with game developers and studios from around the globe.
