Meta Platforms India revenues surpass $2 billion

Meta Platforms India, which owns Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram, surpassed $2 billion in revenue in India in FY22.
Meta business data centerMeta Platforms India has reported ad revenue growth of 74 percent during the financial year, according to Meta’s filings with the Registrar of Companies (RoC). The growth comes at a time when WhatsApp has seen a significant growth in India, nearing 500 million users in the country.

WhatsApp for Business has also seen a significant rise in the country, especially for small businesses, IANS reported.
