Infosys signs digital banking deal with Sharjah Islamic Bank

IT service provider Infosys announced its digital banking deal with Sharjah Islamic Bank (SIB) to supply Finacle e-Banking and Mobile Banking solutions to improve customer service and deliver channel banking experiences.

Infosys Finacle will support SIB to offer a range of features for secure account management and aggregation, fund transfer, payment, and financial management.

Product flexibility and ability to offer a unified platform to serve all customer segments will be some of the benefits of Infosys Finacle.

Sharjah Islamic Bank will also gain from Internet and mobile banking solutions to provide a seamless and personalized channel experience for SIB’s customers.

Jassem Al Baloushi, head of Retail Banking, SIB, said: “Sharjah Islamic Bank has undertaken a major transformation program across functions to deliver new-age banking solutions to our customers.”
