Fujitsu announced it has won a new IT infrastructure management contract from Spanish brewery Damm.
The Barcelona-based brewer has selected Fujitsu to implement a hybrid cloud infrastructure based on Fujitsu’s Cloud Service K5 platform designed for enterprise level digital transformation.
Fujitsu Cloud Service K5 combines Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS).
Since both services are offered on a single platform on a pay-per-use basis, Damm will benefit from the flexibility and cost savings.
The partnership will evolve over the next five years, governed by the establishment of a joint innovation committee, whose mission is to assess the business potential of emerging technologies such as the Internet of Things, Big Data, Security, and Mobility.
