Zebra Technologies unveils new mobility devices for SMBs

Zebra Technologies today launched the new TC20 durable mobile computer and TC25 rugged smartphone in India.

These devices are designed to enable small and medium businesses (SMBs) to gain real-time visibility on-site and on the field.

The ruggedized design enables the devices to withstand heat, cold, dust and accidental falls. They support 1D and 2D barcode scanning and RFID tag reading, making them ideal for business use.

The company also provides life-time security for the devices, powered by Zebra OneCare.

With 4.3-inch screens, the TC20 and TC25 are powered by Mobility DNA and its ecosystem of software such as Datawedge, StageNow and Mobility Extensions (Mx) which helps streamline deployment management and troubleshooting.

With Zebra’s Workforce Connect Push-To-Talk Express, staff can perform voice communications over wireless LAN (TC20 & TC25) and 4G/LTE (TC25) to communicate one-on-one or in groups, allowing them to coordinate and react to changing needs in real time and improve customer service.

Ryan Goh, VP and GM Asia Pacific, Zebra Technologies, said, “Based on Zebra’s Retail Shopper Study, today’s consumers are technology savvy and have high expectations for their on-demand shopping needs.”

Goh added, “Retailers need to ensure they have what the shopper wants, when and where they want it, or shoppers will buy it somewhere else- and may never come back. We are seeing many retailers leveraging visibility technologies to offer better fulfillment options, faster deliveries and a seamless consumer experience.”
