Toshiba’s Digital Products Division (DPD) has unveiled the new Satellite L Series laptops with best-in-class audio tuned by Skullcandy and has natural sound via stereo speakers.
The company said Satellite L Series laptops are designed for Windows 10 and available in 15.6 inch and 17.3 inch screen sizes.
The newly launched series feature an integrated HD webcam and dual-array TruTalk microphones to enable voice apps and offers easy access to Microsoft’s personal digital assistant with dedicated Cortana key.
Powered by Intel and AMD, these laptops supports up to 16GB of memory and up to 1TB storage and 802.11bgn or ultra-fast 802.11ac Wi-Fi for high-performance, cable-free networking.
The Satellite L Series laptops offer multitasking allowing customers to handle work and powerful play and are equipped with an HDMI output, two Super Speed USB 3.0 ports, up to two USB 2.0 ports, an SD card slot that supports cards up to 2TB.
Company officials said Satellite L Series can be configured with up to a Full HD 1080p (1920×1080) IPS TruBrite display and delivers better screen quality for movies.
Additionally, Toshiba and Skullcandy along with DTS aligned to tune the built-in speakers to Skullcandy’s audio specifications.
The new 15.6-inch Satellite L Series laptops will be available on June 21, 2015 for $529.99 while 17.3-inch Satellite L Series laptops will be available on July 29, 2015 for $569.99.
In April, Toshiba Corporation launched Hardware Development Kit (HDK) and Software Development Kit (SDK) for wearable and IoT devices.
