Toshiba has added Portege R30 laptop, a portable PC to expand its portfolio of products designed for Small and Medium-sized Businesses (SMB).
The retail price of Portege is $829.99.
The new product features 4th Generation Intel Mobile Performance processor.
The thin and light Portege includes a built in DVD drive which is backed by Toshiba Quality Guarantee.
Toshiba’s new laptop has up to 16GB of DDR3 memory, and up to a 1TB hybrid hard drive or 512GB solid state drive and offers performance.
Company officials said that the product offers speed the user want to work and create.
The Portege R30 also provides extra security required by IT department with its Intel vPro technology, Trusted Platform Module (TPM) and a Fingerprint Reader.
The users will also have Toshiba Quality Guarantee on their new product under which Toshiba will replace the product in case of any fault in LCD panel, hard drive, and memory or system board.
The product also features EasyGuard technology and undergoes rigorous spill, drop and Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT).
The laptop also shares a common docking station and other accessories with other Tecra and Portege laptops for greater enterprise efficiency.

Last month, Toshiba launched application processor targeting Internet of Things (IoT) and introduced additions to its TZ1000series of ApP Lite processor.
In April last year, Toshiba redesigned three of its laptops 15.6-inch Satellite S55, 17.3-inch Satellite S75 and 14-inch Satellite E45 to increase productivity and provide better entertainment experience.
