Ricoh India brings three new printers

Ricoh India has unveiled three new models of production printers — Ricoh Pro C 901/901S GA+, Ricoh Pro C5100S/ 5110S, Ricoh MP CW 2200SP.

The company claims that the SME/SMB segment is set to benefit from this entry level product with competitive price and low cost of operation.

For instance, Ricoh Pro C 5100 have print speed of 65  A4pages per minute and 80  A4 pages per minute, with the duty cycle of 300 K A4 pages per month.

“With low investment and extra long size printing capability, this product is surely going to benefit our customers. This world class Ricoh product will be beneficial as it gives consistent printer performance and has low cost of ownership,” said Tetsuya Takano, MD and CEO, Ricoh India.

Ricoh also launched Colour Gel Jet Engineering Plan Printer, which has features to improve the work efficiency in the Engineering, ACE and GIS segments.

Ricoh Pro C901/901S GA+ has the capability to print up to 350 GSM media.

CyberMedia Research recently said the India A4 printer market was driven by sales (unit shipments) of Multi Function Printers (MFPs) during the January-March 2013 quarter. The contribution of Single Function Printers (SFPs) dropped from 53 percent to 49 percent in terms of overall A4 printer sales during the first quarter of calendar year 2013.
