At CES, Qualcomm Technologies announced the Snapdragon X2 Plus platform, expanding its Snapdragon X Series and strengthening its push into Windows 11 Copilot+ PCs.
Designed for modern professionals, aspiring creators, and everyday users, Snapdragon X2 Plus focuses on fast performance, ultra-portability, built-in AI capabilities, and multi-day battery life. Select devices from leading OEMs based on the new platform are expected to be available in the first half of 2026.

Snapdragon X2 Plus is powered by the 3rd Gen Qualcomm Oryon CPU, delivering up to 35 percent faster single-core performance compared with the previous generation while consuming 43 percent less power. The platform also integrates a Qualcomm Hexagon NPU capable of delivering 80 TOPS of AI performance, enabling advanced on-device AI features, agentic experiences, and smooth multitasking across productivity, creative, and collaboration workloads.
The platform supports high-speed connectivity with Wi-Fi 7 and optional 5G, alongside enhanced protection through Snapdragon Guardian security. Qualcomm said Snapdragon X2 Plus is designed to help users move seamlessly between data-intensive tasks, creative workflows, and video communication without compromising performance or efficiency. According to Qualcomm, the new platform aims to deliver more responsive, intelligent, and personalized PC experiences for the next generation of Windows devices.
