Panasonic prices SIP business phone KX-UTG200 at $269

Panasonic has priced its SIP business phone KX-UTG200 at $269 and KX-UTG300 at $379 in the U.S. IT market.

Users may also purchase a KX-UTA336 Expansion Module at a retail price of $199.

Panasonic said the cost effective and feature rich KX-UTG200B and KX-UTG300B SIP phones are fully interoperable with leading hosted and open-sourced based IP PBX platforms.

Enterprises can benefit from capabilities such as: call forwarding, intercom, voicemail to email, fax to email, dial by name directory, multiple extensions, one touch conferencing, and many more unified communications tools.

The company said these new two SIP phones can be configured and set-up to run services on an internal hardware platform or support business-class services delivered by a hosted service provider without any platform hardware investment.

Each model allows up to 24 extensions to be monitored. By adding a KX-UTA336 expansion module to the KX-UTG300B, an additional 36 extensions can be monitored with a status update (limit two expansion modules per phone) allowing a user to see a possible total of 96 extensions per phone, said Panasonic.
