Market Share Analysis:
Samsung – 22 percent Market Share (1st Place)
Samsung maintained its lead in the OLED monitor market with a 22 percent share in 1Q25, driven by its flagship 49-inch models, which accounted for 40 percent of its shipments.
In 2Q25, the 27-inch UHD model is expected to become Samsung’s best-selling size, aligning with strong market demand for this screen size.
ASUS – Close to 22 percent Market Share (2nd Place)
ASUS surged to second place, narrowing the gap with Samsung to less than one percentage point, primarily due to strong sales in February and March.
The brand is focusing on product innovation, including portable dual-screen monitors, aiming to solidify its position in the OLED segment.
MSI – 14 percent Market Share (3rd Place)
MSI’s aggressive 2024 strategy resulted in a 63 percent YoY growth in overall monitor shipments, with OLED shipments increasing 36-fold.
The brand recorded a 69 percent YoY increase in gaming monitor shipments, the highest in the industry, driven by high-end OLED models.
LG Electronics (LGE) – 13 percent Market Share (4th Place)
LGE ranked fourth with a 13 percent share in 1Q25, boosted by its newly launched 45-inch WUHD model, which accounted for 25 percent of its OLED lineup.
However, the absence of a 27-inch UHD model, a high-demand size, may impact its performance in upcoming quarters.
Dell – 11 percent Market Share (5th Place)
Dell slipped to fifth place with an 11 percent market share but is expected to recover with the launch of a 27-inch UHD model and a 31.5-inch 120 Hz business monitor in 2Q25.
These new models are projected to help Dell potentially reclaim the fourth or third position in the OLED monitor market.
