The VDSL/ADSL Modem Router is compatible with AC WiFi devices and backward compatible with 802.11 a/b/g/n and enables wireless HD streaming throughput with its high power amplifiers.

The new AC 1600 Modem Router also supports Beamforming+ technology which boosts speed, reliability and range of Wi-Fi connections to extend coverage and reduce dead spots.

The latest iOS and Android dual band wireless tablets and smartphones can also have the connectivity with this technology.

To wireless access and share content on USB hard drives from any device in the home network, AC 1600 Modem Router offers two built-in NETGEAR ReadySHARE enabled USB ports.

NETGEAR recently announced the availability of NETGEAR AC 1600 WiFi VDSL/ADSL Modem Router, online and in retail shops at the end of March in Australia and in April in Italy and the UK for Euro 159.
