At MWC 2018, Lenovo introduced the new Yoga 730 13-inch and 15-inch notebook models, and the 14-inch Yoga 530 model.
The new Windows 10-based convertibles are the successors of Lenovo Yoga, an iconic laptop brand from Lenovo since it pioneered the convertible form factor.
The devices feature the latest 8th Gen Intel Core i7 processors, optional NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 discrete graphics (on the 15-inch Yoga 730) and comfortable full-sized keyboards.
The new Yogas come with up to a UHD IPS touchscreen display on the Yoga 730 and a FHD IPS touchscreen display on the Yoga 530, with razor-thin borders.
The optional Lenovo Active Pen 2 with 4,096 levels of sensitivity allows users to write, draw or annotate with Windows Ink for a pen-on-paper experience. It also supports fingerprint reader through Windows Hello.
The Yoga 730 harnesses the power of AI in intelligent assistance. With both Alexa and Cortana built-in, the Yoga 730 incorporates two distinct, voice-enabled, intelligent AI’s.
Far-field microphones make it easy for Alexa and Cortana to listen and respond even from across the room.
Faster graphics and processing speeds paired with up to a UHD (3840×2160) display, JBL speakers, and Dolby Atmos immersive audio, the Yoga 730 enables immersive entertainment experiences.
The slim new Yogas set a new benchmark for convertibles. The 15-inch Yoga 730 is just 1.89 kg, 1.12 kg for the even more compact 13-inch model. At 1.6 kg, the 14-inch Yoga 530 is 11 percent thinner than before at just 17.6mm.
The new Yoga 730 claims to have better battery life of up to 11.5 hours on the 13-inch model and up to 11 hours on the 15-inch in FHD. With Rapid Charge, the devices can be charged faster for emergency uses.
In EMEA, the 13-inch Yoga 730 with Lenovo Active Pen 2 included will start at €999 (VAT included) and the 15-inch model with Lenovo Active Pen 2 included will start at €1,099 (VAT included). Both are expected to be available starting April 2018.
The 14-inch Yoga 530 will start at €549 (VAT included), expected to be available starting June 2018.
