Laptop maker Acer brings special schemes as part of Independence Day

Laptop maker Acer announced special schemes as part of India’s Independence Day celebrations.

Acer is offering two year extended warranty free worth Rs 3,500.

Moreover, Acer is also offering an exchange offer with up to Rs 9,500 on your old laptops.

The laptop maker is also offering EMI options.

The company in an advertisement said “Celebrate Freedom with Acer. This independence day make the most of the offers that Acer’s got for you. Together let us celebrate freedom.”

Acer is promoting Aspire V5 – 471P Touch Laptop. The latest laptop is powered by 3rd Gen Intel Core i5 processor. It comes with Windows 8 single language.

Aspire V5 – 471P Touch Laptop offers up to 5 hours battery life.

The price of Acer touch range starts from Rs 27,999 + taxes in the Indian laptop market.

Meanwhile, Acer’s rival HP is leading the PC market — desktop, notebook and tablets — in India with 25.4 percent share in the second quarter of 2013, Canalys said. Lenovo is in the second position with 8.2 percent PC market share.
