HP reports revenue growth in fiscal 2025 as AI driven innovation boosts PC business

HP Inc. closed fiscal 2025 with revenue of $55.3 billion, reflecting a 3.2 percent increase as the company strengthened its focus on AI powered devices, hybrid work solutions and advanced compute offerings. Personal Systems remained the core growth engine, contributing half of total sales, supported by rising demand from both commercial and consumer customers.

CEO Enrique Lores said the results underscore the momentum of HP’s Future of Work strategy and highlight strong execution in a dynamic market. He noted that HP will continue accelerating AI led innovation to enhance productivity, flexibility and security for customers in FY26.

HP’s fourth-quarter revenue reached $14.6 billion, up 4.2 percent, with growth across the Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific. HP did not reveal the size of its revenue from AI devices.

HP’s Personal Systems business delivered a standout performance in the fourth quarter with revenue of $10.4 billion, up 8 percent. Both consumer and commercial segments recorded growth, supported by higher demand, increased average selling prices and traction in key growth areas. Unit shipments rose 7 percent, while HP expanded its portfolio with AI focused products including the AI Station edge device capable of delivering 1,000 TOPS for on device AI workloads and a 49 inch ultrawide monitor featuring integrated AI based noise reduction.

HP’s printing revenue for the quarter was $4.3 billion, down 4 percent, though quarter over quarter revenue rose 7 percent due to stronger hardware and supplies volumes and strategic pricing actions. HP enhanced its printing portfolio with the launch of its first at home AI print app in the US and the Indigo 6K plus Digital Press designed for high productivity label production.

For fiscal 2025, HP’s Personal Systems revenue reached $38.532 billion, a 6.5 percent annual increase driven by double digit growth in AI PCs, advanced compute solutions and hybrid systems offerings. AI PCs now account for more than 30 percent of HP’s PC mix as the company partners with hundreds of ISVs to expand support for on device AI applications. HP also introduced a compact edge device capable of running advanced AI models locally, helping customers reduce cloud costs and speed up development cycles.

HP saw continued adoption of hybrid work solutions, with Poly Studio room systems deployed in over 12 percent of meeting rooms globally and more than 12 million IT managed devices supporting enterprise hybrid workflows. Consumer subscriptions maintained strong momentum, with Instant Ink, Instant Paper and the All in Plan delivering double digit revenue growth.

Workforce Solutions also posted double digit growth year over year and quarter over quarter. HP’s Workforce Experience Platform now manages roughly 2.4 million connected devices, gathers telemetry from 48 million endpoints and resolves about 12 million IT issues each month, underscoring its expanding role in enterprise digital experience management.

Overall, HP’s fiscal 2025 performance reflects steady execution across its core segments, growing demand for AI powered solutions and a strengthened position in hybrid work and advanced compute markets as the company prepares for further innovation driven growth in FY26.
