HP offers Device-as-a-Service in India

HP launched a new Device-as-a-Service (DaaS) programme aimed at Indian business sector, after implementing it in Australia and Singapore.

Under the programme, the technology major will provide personal computers to enterprises on a monthly charge per seat for three or four years.

HP plans to extend the program to other countries as well. In India, Maruti Suzuki is currently using this service.

HP said users of this service will customised services and support from HP such as PC configuration and software installation, onsite break-fix, data migration and proactive support.

Customers will also be able to upgrade to the latest HP devices across commercial desktops, notebook PCs and tablets for subsequent contract periods.
