HP inks $116 mn deal with Humane for AI capabilities

HP announced a $116 million deal for acquiring AI capabilities from Humane in a bid to redefine workforce productivity and enhance the future of work.

HP’s deal is part of its strategic move into AI by acquiring key capabilities from Humane, including the AI-powered platform Cosmos, technical experts, and over 300 patents.

This acquisition aligns with HP’s vision to evolve into an experience-led company, accelerating its ability to develop AI-driven devices that integrate local and cloud-based intelligence.

The deal will establish HP IQ, a dedicated AI innovation lab focused on creating an intelligent ecosystem across HP’s product range, from AI PCs to smart printers and connected conference rooms.
