HP India unveils EliteBook Folio notebook

HP Inc. on Thursday unveiled a new line of thin and light notebooks that will herald “office of the future” by fulfilling business and personal requirements of the Indian customers.

The new products launched include HP EliteBook Folio and HP Elite X2 1012 notebooks.

“At HP, we are pushing the envelope in design, productivity, security and entertainment to build innovative products for ‘One Life’,” Ketan Patel, director (personal systems) HP Inc. India, told reporters.

At 12.4 mm and under 1 kg, the Rs 1,28,000 (starting price) HP EliteBook Folio is the thinnest and lightest business notebook from HP offering better security and manageability features.

The Rs 95,000 (starting price) HP Elite x2 1012 offers the productivity of a full notebook with the convenience of a tablet perfectly designed for the professionals on the go.

The Elite x2 is crafted from milled CNC aluminium and is just 8.1 mm thin. The tablet weighs less than 840 grams and has a built-in kickstand with 150 degrees of adjustability, allowing a user to set the device upright for viewing and keyboard typing or laying it back for on-screen typing.

The device’s 12-inch diagonal anti-glare HD diagonal display has a 3:2 aspect ratio and automatically adjusts to different lighting conditions.
