HP Inc rejigs top India management

HP India MD Rajiv Srivastava
Global printing and PC major HP Inc on Tuesday appointed Rajiv Srivastava as chief operating officer (for the newly created regional position) and head of Sales Strategy and Operations, HP Inc, Asia Pacific and Japan.

Sumeer Chandra will replace Rajiv Srivastava as managing director and general manager, HP Inc. India.

“As outstanding leaders with proven track records, I am confident Rajiv Srivastava and Sumeer Chandra will deliver innovation that drives growth and business results for our customers and partners across India and the region,” said Richard Bailey, president, HP Inc., Asia Pacific and Japan.

Rajiv Srivastava and Sumeer Chandra will report to Bailey in their new roles beginning in May.

Under Rajiv Srivastava’s management, HP India achieved leadership positions in every category across the PC and printer segments. Rajiv Srivastava also spearheaded HP’s ‘Digital India’ business unit.

Sumeer Chandra was previously the chief operating officer for HP Inc. India.

Prior to joining HP, Sumeer Chandra was a principal at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), managing consulting assignments on strategy and operations for leading companies in India and the US.
