Infotech Lead India: HCL Infosystems has launched three new models of HCL Beanstalk All-In-One (AIO) PCs for the Indian market.
The range offers 21.5 inch screen with frameless design. It has in-built battery. Some of the other highlights of the HCL Beanstalk All-In-One (AIO) PC series are HD LED backlit display, anti-glare display, Intel Core/Pentium CPU options, SATA 2.5’’ HDD, hinge-design for multi-view angle and an in-built battery that lasts over 1.5 hours.
Designwise, the HCL Beanstalk AIO series is slim, light hinged and has a multi-view. It includes anti-glare display, integrated stereo speakers, 1.3 MP webcam, four USB 2.0 slots, 4-in-1 multi-format card readers, HDMI, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Windows7 home premium. It is powered by second generation Intel core processors, 500 GB HDD, 4GB RAM and an integrated Intel HD graphics.
The three new models ADV10040, ADV10042 and ADV10038 are priced at INR 33,500, INR 40,000 and INR 43,000 respectively. The HCL Beanstalk AIO PC will comes armed with 3-years worth McAfee anti-virus and an edutainment kit and is available across the country from this month onwards.
HCL Infosystems outsources manufacturing facility to Astra Global
Recently HCL announced its decision to outsource its manufacturing facility which is located at Ambattur (Chennai), to Astra Global Private Limited, which is a manufacturing facility that specializes in subsystems for medical and aerospace products, networking racks, specialized custom designed sheet metal enclosures, ticketing & self service kiosks.
This partnership will enable HCL and Astra to focus on their respective core competencies. The Goa (Verna) based Astra is engaged in the business of manufacturing precision assemblies for the Medical & Engineering industries. The partnership will benefit with Astra’s experience in the industry, of over 20 years.
