Enterprise IT vendor Dell today it has supplied Dell Vostro laptops, projectors and tablets to Edutel Technologies, a satellite education company.
Thanks to the deployment of Dell devices, Edutel has benefited from a cost effective educational interface to rural India and deliver Satellite and Advanced Multimedia Education in 1,000 rural Government and aided schools across Karnataka, India.
With its program, Edutel helps create interactive classes for supplementing classroom instruction, where students not only get to watch and listen to their mentors, but also clarify questions in the real time, said Dell in a statement issued on Monday.
“Mobility solutions are crucial in a country like India, where we depend on technology to help bridge the educational divide. Having a robust and reliable infrastructure that is easy to deploy and use is what will enable our platform to grow. Dell solutions have helped us in optimizing overall cost and provided a dynamic platform for projects at Edutel to take flight,” said Harsha Mahabala, CEO of Edutel.
