At the CES 2014, Toshiba announced the launch of KIRAbook Ultrabook with 4th generation Intel Core Haswell processors.
KIRAbook’s 13.3-inch diagonal ultra-high resolution, factory color-calibrated PixelPure display offers a resolution of 2560×1440 to deliver vivid text and images.
To further enhance the movie-watching experience, KIRAbook is also equipped with Harman Kardon stereo speakers that have undergone further audio processing by DTS to deliver best-in-class sound quality.
KIRAbook weighs 2.6 pounds and sporting 0.7 inches.
Its touchscreen models utilize Corning Concore Glass to offer damage resistance, while the body of all models is comprised of AZ91 magnesium alloy, which is hundred percent stronger than certain aluminum alloy, and a honeycomb-base, which increases durability and rigidity.
It offers up to nine hours from its Li-Polymer battery. The Ultrabook’s 256GB solid state drive and 8GB of 1600 MHz memory offer up a fast and responsive experience.
KIRAbook features a complimentary two-year subscription to a custom suite of security products from Symantec, including Norton Internet Security, Norton Anti-Theft and Norton Online Backup, providing 25GB of online storage.
The price of Toshiba KIRAbook will be $1,499.99.
