Monster, a provider of wireless audio solutions, has unveiled the new Bluetooth-enabled headphones family at the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show (CES).

The DNA Pro Wireless over-ear headphone family adds advanced wireless Bluetooth capabilities, Active Noise Cancellation, USB Digital audio and a buttonless touch-sensing user interface that is ideal for today’s tech-savvy music lovers.

DNA Pro Wireless headphones also feature a pure bypass mode via USB Direct Digital Audio for those who want wired connection to produce the uncompromised audio. Users can go wired with noise cancellation for the cleanest audio reproduction straight from the source. This USB connection also simultaneously charges the device.

Monster’s DNA Pro Wireless headphones feature Bluetooth capability with embedded AAC for iOS devices and APT-X for near-lossless wireless sound in Android devices.

Designed by Monster head Noel Lee, Pure Monster Sound uses Monster’s latest proprietary technologies to offer the full experience of live music with extreme clarity, tight articulation and deep pounding bass that motivates to achieve at the highest level of performance, the company said.

Pure Monster Sound produces crystal clear phone conversations for better wireless music performance. The comfortable over-ear design ensures comfortable listening experience. The compact headphones fold away neatly and thanks to a special hinge that automatically shuts down the power when the user collapses the headphone and re-engages power when opened.

DBA Pro Wireless headphones will retail for $449.95 in the second quarter of 2014.
