BenQ unveils an array of new digital lifestyle solutions

Infotech Lead India: BenQ has unveiled an array of new technologies across segments -projectors, monitors, digital cameras and televisions – at the BenQ National Partners Meet, 2013.BenQ launched its new Joybee GP3 projector which is an upgraded version of the mini Joybee GP2.The Joybee GP3 offers an unparalleled audiovisual multimedia experience on the go with its all-in-one iPhone 5 compatible dock featuring simple plug ‘n play enabling users to share videos, photos and games with their family and friends. It has a 160″ cinematic display and a highly power-efficient 3LED projection technology. The GP3 can project for 30,000 hours when used in the Eco Mode, without decrease in brightness.

The Joybee GP3 has 720p HD-ready short-throw projection, 300 ANSI lumen brightness, superior multimedia connectivity, SD card slot and a USB Reader.

BenQ’s gaming monitor XL series was also launched in its 27 inch size. The XL2720T is a 3D-ready LED monitor with Black eQualizer, S Switch with FPS Mode and Smart Scaling. The monitor features a 12M:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio; 1000:1 Native Contrast Ratio, 120Hz, 1920×1080 resolution and comes with a Trademark Senseye Technology.

The XL2720T is certified as NVIDIA 3D Vision 2-ready with light boost technology  to provide gamers Full-HD 3D gaming and entertainment experiences like never before.  Dressed in premium black housing and intricate red detailing, the XL2720T is not only designed with durability, sturdiness and functionality in mind. Its stylish look has earned itself several international design awards: the reddot design award 2011, the G-Mark Good Design Award 2011, and iF product design award 2012.

BenQ currently leads the projector market in India with a sizeable market share and is No. 1 in globally in DLP technology. BenQ in India strongly focuses on the education segment with a commanding 50%+ market share, in addition to ranking No. 1 in DLP, 3D, SVGA, HD, and Short Throw segments.

BenQ targets 50,000 projectors in classrooms helping 20 lakh students

In September 2012, infotechlead had reported that BenQ was planning to put BenQ projectors in more than 50,000 classrooms enabling 20 lakh students to use the latest medium of education.

Both the Joybee GP3 and the XL2720T are expected to hit the markets in India from the mid of 2013.
