ASUS launches ASUSPRO ADVANCED Ultrabook series in India for Rs 85,999

ASUS has launched ASUSPRO ADVANCED Ultrabook series in India with two different models ASUSPRO ADVANCED BU201 and BU401 ULTRABOOK for Rs 85,999 and Rs 89,499 respectively.

The new series is portable with comfort and productivity which also offers military-standard reliability and intelligent manageability with smart and secure solutions.

The ASUSPRO Ultrabook series features the ASUSPRO Business Center designed for small businesses without a managed IT environment.

The company said new series has Intel vPro processor which takes data access authorization and protection to a higher level.

According to the company, it also offers better damage protection than standard notebooks, with an anti-shock drive, 20 percent higher panel pressure resistance and spill resistant backlit keyboard.

The ASUSPRO BU201 Ultrabook is ultra-light and weighs 1.27kg and is tested to exceed the demanding MIL-STD 810G military standard while offering seamless functioning with the SensePoint pointstick that simulates the functions of a regular mouse.

While ASUSPRO BU 401 Ultrabook offers true-comfort keyboard, optimized touchpad which offers smooth connectivity while using sensors.

The ASUSPRO BU401 Ultrabook weighs 1.64kg with a 20mm profile.

“Our latest launch of the ASUSPRO ADVANCED Ultrabook range is aimed at aiding modern businesses and their computing requirements. It enables users to work without worries and personifies our promise to inspire and power businesses,” said Peter Chang, regional head, South Asia & Country Manager, System Business Group, ASUS India.

In May, ASUS launched new servers and server boards – based on Cavium ThunderX 64-bit, 48-core ARM platform – targeting enterprises and SMBs.

In February, ASUS launched ZenBook UX305 for a retail price of $699 which is ultra-portable and weighs 2.6 pounds and half an inch thin.
