Acer strategies to improve sales of laptops and netbooks

Acer India has drafted a long term strategy to improve sales of laptops and netbooks.

The company’s newly launched EMI offer is applicable on select Acer laptops and will be available in 28 cities across India till July 31, 2013

The consumers can make their payments through easy EMIs, within seven months of their purchase at zero per cent interest finance, enabling easy financing for consumers especially in the home segment. No credit cards will be required, and the customer will have to pay only a processing fee. Through this offer, Acer aims to facilitate first-time buyers’ with access to its new range of products with latest technology.

Acer has tied up with Bajaj Finserv Lending.

Our latest offer aims at bringing the best of both worlds to a consumer,” said S Rajendran, CMO at Acer India.

PC users are constantly seeking to revamp their computing devices to be in line with their changing needs. To address this, Acer has introduced a Buy Back option wherein the customer can exchange his used desktop or laptop for a price agreed by the partner.

The company is also offering extended warranty for additional 2 years at worth Rs. 3500 free of cost on select models.
