Yardi investing in new data center in Dubai

CommScope announces Data Center on Demand solution
Yardi, a software provider for real estate investment management, is opening a new data center in Dubai.

Yardi already has more than 10 data centers in North America, Canada, Europe, Asia and Australia. They form the Yardi Cloud, a software provisioning and data management solution that relieves clients of IT infrastructure, support services and security responsibilities.

Neal Gemassmer, vice president of international for Yardi, said: “Our Middle East operation has grown substantially in a relatively short period of time, and the Dubai data centre is the latest step in a strategy that continues to demonstrate commitment by investing further in the region.”

“The Dubai data center will provide our growing Middle East client base access to the Yardi cloud’s fast, best practice-based solution deployments, painless upgrades and reduced overhead and capital costs,” Gemassmer said.

Yardi is investing in multiple firewalls, onsite security, video surveillance, biometric screening, real-time offsite replication, fire suppression systems and other electronic and physical protections in its data centers.
