ViaWest ties up with Galvanize to develop digital entrepreneurs and start-ups

Infotech Lead America: ViaWest, a provider of data center, cloud computing and managed services, has tied up with Galvanize, a start-up ecosystem, to develop digital entrepreneurs and start-ups.

Through venture capital, community and curriculum, Galvanize brings together the critical elements to launching breakout start-ups.

Galvanize offers tools and resources to entrepreneurs and innovators.

“Galvanize is actively working to coalesce Denver’s vibrant start-up community and bringing other successful entrepreneurs and like-minded business that add value to the community together,” said Jim Deters, founder of Galvanize.

ViaWest will provide guest lecturing at Galvanize’s facilities on the latest in cloud computing, hosting and information technology. In addition, through its multi-year commitment, ViaWest will host joint events and be an active participant throughout all areas of the ecosystem to help Galvanize member businesses thrive.

Nancy Phillips, president and CEO for ViaWest, said: “Galvanize offers entrepreneurial support for start-up programs and initiatives that will greatly benefit the Colorado technology ecosystem. ViaWest has 24 secure data centers to offer cloud computing,  hosting and managed services.
