Turk Telekom selects NTT Com for wholesale IP transit

Turk Telekom International (TTI) has selected NTT Communications Corporation to supply wholesale IP transit services to support growing demand for TTI’s full range of Internet/Data, infrastructure and wholesale services across its service area.

Turk Telekom International is a telecommunication operator in the CEE region, Turkey, Caucasus and Middle East.

NTT Com’s Tier-1 Global IP Network is among the top networks worldwide, the company claims.

In 2014 NTT Com established a new connection points to its global IP backbone in Europe, Asia and North America.

“NTT Com’s Tier-1 Global IP Network offers the technical capabilities and global reach required to support TTI’s extensive portfolio of services,” said Clive Hamilton, vice president of Network Services – EMEA at NTT Europe.

“This partnership with NTT Communications brings together two leading, well-respected companies in the industry, resulting in high quality services that will reflect positively on all parties involved,” said Cengiz Öztelcan, CEO of Türk Telekom International.

Two days ago, NTT DATA combined NTT Centerstance to focus on digital business.

In March, NTT Communication joined hands with Microsoft Japan to launch unified-communication cloud service, Arcstar UCaaS Microsoft Type in Japan.
