Indian ICT company Sify Technologies announced the appointment of Mark Ryder as managing director – Europe.
The new appointment marks the expansion of Sify Technologies’ presence in Europe. Based out of London, United Kingdom, Mark will also head Sify’s UK operation.
“After a foray into North America, we are very excited to expand our footprint into the European region,” said Raju Vegesna, chairman of Sify Technologies.
Mark Ryder will be responsible for Sify’s expansion plans in Europe and will tap businesses requiring access to the Indian economy. Sify aims to offer Indian workforce and IT supporting infrastructure to many European enterprises.
Earlier, Mark Ryder worked with technology companies such as Verizon and Level 3. he has also helped build European start-ups Colt and Zayo (formerly Geo) and has taken them to critical operating volumes.
