Sify revenue up 23%, profit up 22% in fiscal 2015

Sify Technologies today said its revenue rose 23 percent to INR 12864 million during fiscal year 2014-15, while net profit grew 22 percent to INR 389 million.

Revenue for the fourth quarter increased 37 percent to INR 3594 million.

Capex (capital spending) during the year was INR 944 million.

We will pursue opportunities in digital transformation models, with a focus on remote infrastructure management and digital learning.”

MP Vijay Kumar, CFO of Sify Technologies, said: “It will be a little more time before we can monetize our investments, especially the data centers. Our planned investments for 2015-16 tend to be more incremental, and directly linked to increases in volumes or new customer contracts.”

Sify Technologies said its revenue from the data business grew more than 30 percent. Voice business grew 11 percent.

During the year, the business added more than 300 customers across all verticals.

Data centre revenue grew 4 percent. Sify has expanded its capacity at its Techspace Data Center in Navi Mumbai by building a dedicated EHV substation, with the capability to expand up to 50 MW.

The company acquired 52 new clients from across verticals, including BFSI, ITeS, Retail and Manufacturing.

Sify Technologies said its Cloud and Managed Services revenue grew 21 percent. The business added 41 customers in the year, while 12 of them for the newly launched Data Centre Transformation Services.

Applications Integration Services revenue grew 4 percent, while revenues from the Technology Integration services grew 69 percent, said Sify Technologies. Sify added more than 110 new customers under Network Integration, Security & DC and Unified Communication services.
