Sify invests $30 million in Noida data center

Sify Technologies has invested $30 million in its fifth data center at Noida, India.

The green data center, which is design-certified as Tier III by The Uptime, has a total capacity of 10 Megawatts, and is optimized for high density computing.

Each floor in the data center is based on a concurrently maintainable modular design, and has floor loading of 1,500 Kg per square meter.

Sify, in a statement, said the data centee’s portfolio of services will include infrastructure services, core services, managed services, consultancy services, enterprise risk management services and hosted applications.

Kamal Nath, CEO, Sify Technologies, said, data center strategy is the epicenter of its transformation story.

In the past 12 years, Sify have built 5 data centers, 6 state data centers and have recently connected over 36 data centers across India with its data network.

Sify has invested around $200 million in building network and data center capabilities over the last 5 years.
