Sidera Networks sets up network ring connecting Digital Realty data centers

Sidera Networks has set up a network ring connecting Digital Realty data centers inChicago,IL;Piscataway,NJ;New York,NYandAshburn,Virginia.

Digital Realty customers will benefit from for cloud-based services including low latency, unique routes and 100G-ready scalability.

“The Cloud relies on high bandwidth, low latency connectivity so that storage, high-end content and media, disaster recovery, and gaming applications are accessible and available in a virtualized environment,” said Clint Heiden, president of Sidera Networks.

“The engine of this infrastructure lives in key data centers like Digital Realty’s properties. Sidera’s scalable and redundant network was designed to meet the needs of Digital Realty’s largest bandwidth users enabling real-time data replication and access throughout their footprint,” Heiden added.

Sidera’s network ring provides Digital Realty’s customers dedicated connectivity between and among key facilities located inChicago,New Jersey,New YorkandAshburn,VA.

In addition, Sidera’s network offers customers direct low latency connectivity to all of the major northeast financial exchanges, as well as Chicago/Aurora, IL,London,UK, andToronto,CA.
