Shaw Communications has created new, data centre in Calgary to offer business customers a variety of hybrid solutions, including cloud, colocation, managed services or any combination in between.
The new data center in Calgary will open in the fall of 2015 and covers 40,000 square foot.
The company said the Calgary data centre leverages ViaWest’s expertise and 16-year track record in the IT infrastructure space across the United States.
Additionally, U.S.-based customers of ViaWest can also leverage the Calgary data centre to meet their Canadian IT hybrid infrastructure needs.
The data center has highly trained team of engineers and designed to live up Shaw’s reputation for delivering exceptional customer experiences and solutions.
This apart, businesses can take advantage of Shaw’s extensive fiber network, a carrier of choice or combination of both.
The data center will also offer high energy efficiency with projected usage effectiveness of 1.4, high density pods and onsite security staff and monitoring 24x7x365 with multiple security zones.
