Infotech Lead America: Schneider Electric has installed 18 Uniflair perimeter cooling units at DataBank’s North Dallas data center.
This is the largest installation for Schneider Electric’s Uniflair line in North America to date.
DataBank, a provider of custom colocation solutions and services, selected Schneider Electric’s Uniflair solution for its ability to offer more flexibility, increased air flow, serviceability and noise reduction to cool their new Tier III+, sixty-thousand square foot facility.
“We took the entire mechanical team, from engineers to service technicians, to Schneider’s Technology Center in Saint Louis,” said Dan Allen, vice president of Technical Operations for DataBank. “It gave us the opportunity to take apart their cooling units and critique them. It was as if Schneider had taken all the best aspects of the machines in the industry and put them into one box.”
DataBank installed four of the Uniflair 4000 series units and 14 of the 4300 series Uniflair units.
