In a move aimed at addressing the burgeoning demand for data center solutions in India, Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation, has inaugurated a cooling factory in Bangalore.
This facility, sprawling across 6.5 acres, represents a significant investment of Rs 100 crores (around 10 million euros) and underscores the company’s commitment to bolstering its presence in the country’s rapidly evolving data center ecosystem.
The newly inaugurated factory is poised to play a pivotal role in Schneider Electric’s global supply chain, with 85 percent of its products earmarked for export. Specializing in advanced cooling solutions, the factory is strategically positioned to cater not only to the burgeoning Indian data center market but also to international clientele across diverse sectors such as Buildings, Industry, and Infrastructure.
Schneider Electric’s will focus on manufacturing an array of cooling products and solutions tailored to meet the diverse needs of data centers, telecom, commercial, and industrial applications. Among the key products slated for production are the latest generation in-row cooling systems, high-efficiency chillers, and innovative air handling units designed to enhance energy efficiency and optimize cooling performance.
