Schneider Electric appoints Anil Chaudhry as India head

Infotech Lead Asia: Schneider Electric India has appointed Anil Chaudhry as managing director and country president.

Chaudhry succeeds Olivier Blum who has now completed his five year tenure as country president, India and will now become executive vice president of global retail division.

Chaudhry was previously leading the global sales organization of Infrastructure Business in Paris. He joined Schneider Electric in June 2010 after the acquisition of Areva T&D and since then has held important leadership positions in general management, sales, business development and strategy, P&L and project management, design and engineering in France and India.

Anil Chaudhry, managing director and country president, Schneider Electric India, said, “The energy efficiency and energy management domains are witnessing new momentum with everything becoming monitored, controlled and more efficient.”
